Our Springfield team is looking for a Transportation Engineering Intern to join us for Summer 2026.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real transportation and roadway projects while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
As an intern, you won’t just be observing—you’ll be contributing. You’ll:
- Assist with transportation and roadway design projects
- Help prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates
- Collect and analyze project data
- Participate in field visits, site inspections, and project meetings
- Work with design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Support the team on active, real-world projects
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is curious, dependable, and ready to learn:
- Pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Interest in transportation or roadway design
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office; AutoCAD/Civil 3D is a plus
- Valid driver’s license
