QEI planned and designed the rehabilitation of the truss bridge over the Illinois River. Planning tasks included the preparation of a Traffic Management Analysis and Traffic Management Plan for a complex bridge rehabilitation plan. Design tasks included Field Surveys, Preparation of Roadway and MOT plans, Gusset plate rating calculation for 6 deck truss spans following AASHTO MBE, preparation of a portion of bridge repair plans, and specifications for the pier scour protection, deck and parapet repair, vaulted abutment slab replacement, substructure repair, retaining wall repair, and repair of navigation lights.
