Executive Assistant (St. Louis, MO)

Salary Range – $45,000 to $65,000

Quigg Engineering Inc. (QEI) is a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm serving both private and public sectors in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa. We are a certified DBE community-oriented consulting firm specializing in design, planning, surveying, structural analysis, construction inspection, and environmental studies for state DOTs, tollways, municipalities, and utility companies, including residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. We are seeking a dynamic Executive Assistant to join our team full-time in our St. Louis, MO office, reporting to the Vice President of Operations.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the VP of Operations to update and maintain the information in the Project Management System (PMS).
  • Entering contract information into the PMS.
  • Updating monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports.
  • Liaising with Project Managers and Accounting to verify that contract information is entered correctly in the PMS.
  • Confidentially handling sensitive information.
  • Carrying out other administrative duties such as booking travel arrangements, handling incoming calls, and maintaining office supplies.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma; preferably with college coursework or certificates in accounting or project management.
  • A minimum of 2 years of project administrative experience, preferably in the engineering, architectural, or construction industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
