Salary Range – $45,000-$65,000
Quigg Engineering Inc. (QEI) is seeking a dynamic Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis at our Springfield, IL office. QEI is a multi-disciplined civil engineering and surveying firm serving both the private and public sectors in Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, and Iowa. We are a certified DBE, community-oriented consulting firm specializing in design, planning, surveying, structural analysis, construction inspection, and environmental studies for state DOTs, tollways, municipalities, utility companies, as well as residential, commercial, and industrial development projects. Responsibilities:
- Layout of structure and roadway related projects
- Assist the project manager and engineer with the preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates
- Interact with public and private clients
- Maintain proficiency in the latest CADD technology and client requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school graduate or Associate’s degree with a certificate in drafting technology or related field
- Experience working with Illinois DOTs or local agencies is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Microstation/Geopak; Open Road Designer; AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
